This is a silly animation I did as practice a few months ago, following the trend of re-animating the viral video of a cat from the videogame "The Sims" doing a breakdance. I included work in-progress gifs so you can see some of the work that went into the final product!
This was the initial sketch. The original video was heavily referenced and the cat was partially rotoscoped since I am still learning. I'm a fan of the "Mega Man" videogame and comics series, so I decided to animate the main character trying to impress his older brother.
Extra movement sketches were drawn in red to be visible from stationary parts.
